Race Results for Polokwane race meeting

"The Ultimates" would like to extend our thanks to Piet and also Rene and all staff and marshalls at the Polokwane Oval track, we enjoyed our race and look forward to our next race meeting in November. Thank you for everything! 

We also want to thank Andries and staff from "Thandabantu lodge", you guys went out of your way to please us and we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts your lodge is magnificent and you really make it feel like home away from home... we will deffinately see you in November! We will recommend your lodge to everybody!

Thank you to all our wonderfull fans at the race, some of you that drove so far to come and see us race. Thank you, thank you, we really appreciate it!  

Polokwane was a blast, we had lot's of fun despite the rain on Friday, we could not practise on Friday before the race but when we woke up on Saturday the sun was a shiiiiiining. Hoooooo ray!!! Thirteen "Ultimates" race cars went to Polokwane to race. It was very, very hot track tempratures reached up to 43 degrees celcius. Unfortunately for Robbie Herbst nr 11 car, his new 410 proved to be a little bit too powerfull for his driveline broke and he could not compete in the race. Qualifying started at 18:00 and Pierre de Ridder earned pole position in qualifying. Pierre drove car 74 and boy did he drive it! Smoking those tyres all the way...  Pierre won the first heat and Vim Newman the second heat. The final heat was won by Freddie Mocke well done Freddie you where flying. Unfortunately Pierre's car nr74 broke a conrod and could not finish the last heat. Very close racing throughout the night had the crowed on the edge of their seats.
