The Ultimates would like to thank Tim, Basie, Ann, Abie, Marius and Anneline and all the rest of the marshals that worked so hard to organize an awesome event! Congratulations guys, it was a huge success. Thank you to all the wonderfull fans that supported this event with your pressence.

What a great turn out ! A total of 15 Sprint cars took to the track at 2pm to qualify, a draw was done to see who qualifies in what order. Vim Newman had the best qualifying time putting him on pole position, he turned a 12.82sec lap time. Wow you go Vim!!!!! An outstanding performance of man and his race car...  Even on this newly renovated track that we arent used to yet amaizing lap times was seen. The one corner of the track is very tricky now and it was seen throughout the night that not only the Sprint cars was battling with it but all the rest as well. Tim the owner of Rock Raceway has reported that this corner will be changed as soon as possible... 

The Sprint cars first heat race grid positions was done according to the drivers qualifying times, the second heat the cars inverted and the final was worked out according to the drivers points gained throughout the day. Every race was an intense and exiting one! A few touch and go's and spun outs, but nothing too serious luckuly. Very fast racing was the order of the day.
